Once I step out of the house, it's bus fare, train fare to and fro (est. $4) Buy The New Paper - 70 cents..... coffee at Coffee Connosseiur - $6 Assorted bread from Bread TAlk for family's breakfast the next day - $7 Lunch & drinks at kopi tiam - $5 Impulse shopping (clothings or household things) - est $20 Total = $45 - $50 |

I asked this question because one of my female friends gives her 'O' level daughter $20 a day and on top of that, her daughter gets $100 on Sundays from her grandma. That's a lot of money, isn't it? The irony is the teenager complains to her mum the allowance is not enough! Euwww:confused2: From your feedbacks I can tell my friend what is the general amount of pocket money a young girl needs. Whether my friend is rich or not is not the issue. Her concern is where the allowances go to. ![]() |
