KIA Picanto @ ard $39000, 100% loan, Interest Rates 10 years @ 2.9%:
$39000x2.9% = $1131
$1131x10 = $11310 (Interest Rates for 10 years)
$11310+$39000 = $50310
$50310÷120 = $419.25
Monthly u'll pay $419.25 if you go for the full loan.. |

anyway regrding topic, better to have ard 2.5k monthly gross b4 thinking about car. plus spare $100-200 a month. ERP, Parking, then confirm sure buy accessories for car. i have witness no one i know has been able to resist keeping the car at 100% stock. |

Actually it would be better to have at least 2.5k take home pay (i.e. gross pay of $3k and upwards) cos you will need to spend up to 1.5k on the car. Plus there are always unexpected expenses like idiots scratching your car or dents from car doors or unexpected accidents. |

Sometimes, you're better off taking cabs and public transport.
For us, it was a case of need. Daily to and fro from AMK to CCK, plus weekend trips from AMK to ECP. Daily taxi fare from AMK to CCK including peak hour and surcharges can be about 25 bucks. So daily at least $50, per month at least $1.2k. so we're better off just paying for the car. |
