Isit true the clothing they sell tend to be small build ladies? How about outfits for plus size gals? Easy to find?

Just came back from Taipei.. The weather was cooling except for the 1st day (9th Apr) we went... Would suggest go in Apr or May..

Air ticket (Cathay Pacific - Transit in HK) + Hotel is abt SGD730/pax for 4D3N..

i went to taiwan with my 3 frenz last dec for my bdae celebration..we went with Chanbro package tour 8Days best of taiwan - so we went to taipei, taichung, taitung, nantou, hualian and alishan plus shopping. The package was expensive - $1.3k but i only brought S$300-400 to spend. Hahahz so basically i spent in total 1.7-1.8k (including tips for tour guide)

Yahz i agree that the clothings sold in dec were mostly winter stuffs e.g. coats, long sleeved tops. But there were lotsa food to eat & my frenz n i din eat much cuz the restaurant's dinner n lunch meals were quite filling liao. LOL I bought boots though! Very cheap..1 pair of abt knee length boots only cost S$20! Bought souvenirs, accessories and snacks mostly. Haha

But during winter, taiwan din snow hahax...so it'd be disappointing if u wanna experience snowing. It was much cooler den singapore but no snow. Even the Alishan we went to also din snow. So sad right?

Yahz i guess summer time such as may - jun will be great if u wanna shop for clothes. However if u juz wanna sightseeing and try their food, anytime will be good except monsoon season!

For clothings, best time would be summer. because during winter, all the clothes would be long sleeved etc.

Uhh.. not sure how much my mum paid. quite a lot because we bought a lot of food (LOL).

What are you getting from there?

The things there are rather cheap as compared to Singapore - LIMITED TO SOME STUFFS

But seriously the best hotel I had ever stayed in Taipei would be the one in the middle of Xi Men Ding (above watsons) super convenient. but the place (Xi men ting) is complicated (not the route, but those thugs etc)

I recommend you to get shoes there. super comfortable. even more comfortable than those in Singapore (those expensive type included)
