A friend asked me how much does it cost to import a car to Singapore, I do not know the answer to that question, so I decided to post this up and see if anyone knows......??

eh i heard can bring in a more thn 10 yr old car into sg ar? just no parf only isit true?? woa if can ar i now sell off my cars to buy a spiritR man haha

u may want to go to those 2nd hand car dealer to find out the pricing. But to be frank, it's not worth the money. You never know that the previous owner did to that car before or maybe it is a confiscated car by traffic police in oversea due to some illegal activitives.

Importing a car is not easy and cheap.... Its very troublesome and expensive... U need to apply LTA license etc etc.. The GST cost is super high too... Even u bought a car from oversea, it still need to approve by LTA itself. And eg the car cost 50k, the procedure and cost that will be involve may hit up to 30-50k... Meaning, u r buying that car for 100k... So its really not worth it...
