Hi,

Someone from the States is sending a money order to me.....I have never deal with money order before so was wondering if anyone have and how does it works? thanks!

A money order is like a check, but you pay for it up front from your local bank, 7-11, or grocery store.

Money Order is expensive for the buyer as well. how much issit? $20?

Good for receiver cause cfm got funds and wont bounce

?? I know that Singpost charges $2 service charge to send a money order. But $20??

A money order is a payment order for a pre-specified amount of money. It is a more trusted method of payment than a personal check, because it is required that the funds be prepaid for the amount shown on it. Merchants may welcome the extra security of a pre-paid money order instead of a personal check, which can bounce.

Go to a local Post Office or your local bank to cash it. Do take note that not all banks accept money order if you do not have an account with them.
