Hello.
Im new to all this downloading stuff. I need help.
Does anyone know how to make a WinRAR archieve file into an ISO file so that it can be played in the PSP?

I have tried extracting it but after a while, a window would pop-up with 'Diagnostic Error'.
Then, there would be a lot of errors which I dont know anything about.

So can someone please provide me simple but detailed instructions?

means the file you just downloaded got errors in it. Maybe some parts of the packets is lost.
You should re-dl the file and use winrar to extract again.

wait. i tried extracting the WinRAR file again just now but this time there were no errors.
But when I look in the folder, there were no ISO files, only SFO, BIN and PAK files.
I dont have any idea what that is. How do you extract the WinRAR file?
I think Im not doing it correctly as I did not rename any file to ISO.

i think u just extracted a iso file. even if the extraction is not successful, they will still put the file in the output folder. you may want to delete that broken file. Did u enable file extension?

open a .rar folder (psp game), inside will have iso / cso.
then extract to the output folder that you want.
they will warn if there are any errors.

click 'extract to' button. normally they will put the file u want to extract in the same folder as the .rar file.

Hi, After i downloaded the game, it shows the rar file icon, but when i check the file that i downloaded, it has a .iso behind the name of the game, so it that an iso file or an rar file?
Do i just put it in my psp without extracting it since it is .iso?

when the file is completed, whats the format of the file?
if .rar then u have to extract and put it in your memory stick iso folder.
if .iso / .cso u only have to transfer them into your memory stick iso folder.

go to your rar option
there will be a tab that let's you select wat sort of file to extract UNCHECK ISO
they u will extract the full iso as a data file and not a rar file

iso and cso is almost the same its just that cso is a compressed file which has the lesser space.

Here is the steps on extracting games you have and the game has many parts:
-Make a folder in your desktop(dont worry about the name)
-Put all the game parts to that new folder you have make
-Extract "here" in that folder but for the part 1 only
**not to worry the self extractor will help you extract all the game parts into one file like ISO or CSO

Than transfer the ISO or CSO file to your ISO folder in your memory stick (=

try puting all the .rar filr in one folder and right click, chose Extract here.
if got error for example, XXXX1.rar got error password or ...., re-download the XXXX1.rar file again.

if your file is download & extract correctly with no error or password error.
you will get the .iso or cso file!
