Okay, so two days from now is an important event, this is my secondary four life and i love it alot. I would like to thank everyone for being my friend and i'd like to try making food for them. WE JUST LOVE TO EAT IN CLASS!

So i need help. Step by step instructions. Ingredients. Utensils needed. I'm gonna do the Makizushi (巻き寿司) that is Hosomaki (細巻き) as i find it easier to consume. Ingredients i thought of using are omelette, cucumber, crab meats, and carrot. I believe each sushi can take 3 kinds of ingredients as long as i cut them into smaller pieces right?

So i need to buy japanese rice, then the whatever powder(need more information), seaweed, bamboo thingy, and the food. That's all right? How do i make a omelette like those they sell in the market??

To make those omelette, I think you need to stir the eggs well and add some kind of flour/milk to make it smooth.

I'm sorry but as for the steps by steps recipes, I can't help much! I myself have not make a sushi before. lol, I'd love to try making one too. Heheh.

Erm, i went to Cold Storage and also heeded my friend's advice, should have no problem with getting the rice done...

Because it's just cooking the rice then mixxing it with the vinegar powder, that's it. I wish i could mix my own vinegar, but i think i'll be too inexperience and mess it up.

Me friend say, buy the japanese rice with the red big strip infront and black adn white around. KOSHIHIKARI USA. >_>

Then the vinegar powder is MIZKAN one... it's says no.1 brand in japan so i bought it lor...

Anyway, i need tips on the ingredients, cucumber have no problem, carrot neither. But it seems that adding myonise(wateva it spells) along makes it nicer. And the main problem is... HOW DO I MAKE A NICE OMELETTE? I just bought a frying pan...

I'll be doing all the stuff tomorrow at night, OR SHOULD i sleep in the day and wake up at 3am to do it? Freshness is the key!!

You guys have all day to post your suggestions. More help needed with the egg!!

EDIT: Oh, don't worry about the omelette now, i think i've found my answer, but seems that i have to make another trip to the supermarket. =/

there are japanese supermarket that you may find some unknow ingredients XD
There is one in parkway and another one one shopping centre... I think someone post it in another thread. XD That place also tell you how to cook some dish

I would say that the taste is that, just texture not nice.

And it's too big. Because cucumber, crabmeat and omelette. It's a 3 in 1. XDXD

Actually, i made it because i want further improve the relantionship of me and a girl from lower secondary(we both had feelings), use it as a medium mah, but she rejected it... and yar, she got over with me, and i also forget liao. Ow well. The reason she gave was, personality not suitable, uncomfortable while talking. I'm a Taurus by the way, she's Leo.
