how to make eye make-up stay

Eyeshadow That Stays In Place :

Melting eyeshadow is a problem for all of us but there is a way to make it "stick" a little longer. I have found that if you use a damp eyeshadow brush and apply a layer of face powder to your lids and allow to set, the shadow will stay in place for the day. Takes an extra second or so but the effort is well worth it.

if you set your foundation well, there shouldn't be a problem for you eye colours to stay.

I want to try those makeup prep-ers hahaha : D Then maybe it'll stay on. I'd try the foundation on eyelids thing, except my eye area is quite sensitive may get irritated :/

I got a better tip.

Buy MAC eyeshadow. I cried like shiat (my bf say I cry until machiam someone I know really die -_-) when I watched a movie (Click) some time ago, but the eyeshadow still stayed. Power. Haha.

Never got any smudging problem before.

but i tried putting foundation on my eyelids before using eyeliner, still smudge.

but but my fren did a makeover for me, whole day whole night, never smudge at all! i wanna know her secrets so i'm asking her to do another one for me on my bday!

must be the brand of the powder den.
liner smudge? try using a liquid type. most pencils tend to run/smudge and those that doesnt usually is veri dry and hard.

i think setting foundation would be good. and apply moisturiser prior to putting foundation. makeup stay on better with moisturised skin.

anyway if it's makeover the foundation they used are stronger and thicker, maybe that's the reason it stayed better?

you use what kinda concealer? not cakey ah? lol
i used to work as a beauty advisor.. den sometimes i see customers with bad blending using concealers ard eyes. must be careful with concealers ard eye areas though, becoz when u take photo with flash ur eye area will have white patches.
