Dearest Ms Juliet,

I am pleased to inform you that I have fallen in Love with you since the
14th of October (Saturday). With reference to the meeting held between us
on the 13th of Oct. at 1500 hrs, would like to present myself as a
prospective lover.

Our love affair would be on probation for a period of three months and
depending on compatibility, would be made permanent. Of course, upon
completion of probation, there will be continuous on the job training and
performance appraisal schemes leading up to promotion from lover to spouse.


The expenses incurred for coffee and entertainment would initially be
shared equally between us. Later, based on your performance, I might take
up a larger share of the expenses. However I am broadminded enough to be
taken care of, on your expense account.

I request you to kindly respond within 3 days of receiving this letter,
failing which, this offer would be cancelled without further notice and I
shall be considering someone else.

I would be happy, if you could forward this letter to your sister, if you
do not wish to take up this offer.

Dear Mr. HR Manager,

Thank you for your letter pertaining to your having Fallen In Love with me.


The terms and conditions stated in your letter seemed fair. However, I would like to add that in view of my being a single and eligible woman of financial means, you will have to be prepared to pay the sum of S$2.5 million as a deposit for our intended love affair. Should we mutually agree to part company after 10 years, the deposit will be returned to you in full.


I would also like to consider your proposal of being my prospective lover as this is a life-altering decision I have to make after consulting with my grandparents, parents, six uncles, five aunties, four brothers, four sisters-in-law, three sisters and two brothers-in-law. We will be having a meeting shortly to deliberate on this matter and I should be able to give you an answer in two days or sooner.

Kindly note that should you find my counter proposals unfair, the same conditions will be requested from you by my eldest sister who is 48 yrs old and still single.

It is an honour to receive this letter from you and I trust you will find my requests fair and reasonable.

Thank you for for prompt reply regarding the above mentioned. I am glad to note your interest in this matter.

Unfortunately, there is a policy that i abide, which withholds me from handing out monetary deposits to certain parties, such as, but not limited to, prospective lovers.

I can however, hand out a one-time complimentary lump sum of $200 for compensation.

Should you still be dissatisfied with these arrangements, do let me know as soon as possible.

Otherwise, please continue to consult your numerous relatives, and i look forward to hearing from you again.

There will be no need for any further correspondence with your sister.

Dear Mr. HR Manager,

We have received a letter cc'ed to Mr. Chairman and myself from a Ms. Juliet.

This is a matter of grave concern to us as it is stated in your employment letter Clause 414(c) :"Any employee who utilized his/her position to indulge in personal correspondence with person/persons who have no business dealings with the company, is deemed to have committed an unethical act and hence, is liable to have his/her employment contract terminated immediately."

As you have been with the company for 20 years, Mr. Chairman and myself will grant you reprise on condition you make payment of S$2.5 million to Ms. Juliet immediately, failing which, the company has the right to protect its own interest and demand immediate seizure of the 10,000 sq ft property paid for by the company for your past contributions in recovering S$ 10.2 million debts owed by absconded ex-employees who rescinded on their employment contracts. In addition, we have to request you pay the company S$ 5 million for all the past bonuses paid to you as stated in your employment contract clause 507 (e).

We trust you will make the right choice as you are indeed an invaluable staff to our organization.
