Sometimes i keep thinking of getting mc... in short lazy to work.. how to reduce the mindset i have now?

Well, find a passion or a drive from ur workplace that allows u to manoeuvre ur feet to ur office/workplace. What you need most is a drive and motivation for u to get ur feet down to work.

Find a job you are interested in and that will give you motivation to work.

I guess that you are stuck with a boring and unfufilling job right now.

If you like meeting ppl, a sales job is suitable for you.

If you are into music, maybe a DJ's job is suitable.

If you are into Justice type and always believe in Fairness and justice, Police/CNB might be suitable.

In short, find a job that is suitable and fufilling for you.

Quite true, im sort of getting boring and not interested working at my dad's company.. But he insists me to work for him though i try to talk to him nicely.. but failed all the times...

Think 10 years down the road, you're still at where you are and question yourself if thats what you want. Otherwise switch jobs and find something u have passion for. No matter how important a good salary may be but without interest or excitement, you'll just lose the hype later on.

positive suggestion - learn to love it. if really cannot make it then bo bian switch another job. no point getting struck to the old job making yourself depressed and everything, in the end making everyone unhappy also.

I guess the reason you cant convince your dad is because you dont know what you want to do after you quit. Here is the key, The job you want to do must have a future brighter than working in his office.

short term solution: have a purpose... just think of making ur dad happy everytime u come to work....

the last time that happened to me, i quit and now i'm doing something i enjoy...

but since it's your dad's company, it's kinda difficult. maybe try to seek other people's help e.g. family members to talk to him? cos if you every take MC, also don't make sense for your dad right?

it's pretty normal for most to feel bored every now and then after staying in a company for some time. for me, if i feel absolutely bored in going to work for mths.. and especially i get more and more irritating.. then it's a sign for me to start looking out for a new jobs..

luckily for my current job.. my office culture is anything but stagnant.. there's (better) changes every now and then.. i'm pushed to learn new things.. a bit tedious at times.. sometimes really feel like giving up.. but when i stop to think abt it.. i've really advanced a lot (in terms of sal too.. heehee.. and i've only been there for close to 1 yr!!)..

i used to think i'd remain a lowly admin staff and dat's it.. but in my current company, i feel dat i'm being groomed into a professional recruiter! wow! and i'm proud dat my company is moving towards the new trends.. so i think i'll be staying for a while cos i know if i stay, i can move further up.

me too. lazy to work especially every morning have to wake up so early. i guess the result is we dont find job satisfaction in our work?

i've decided to leave, as i see no point forcing myself to go work everyday. i suggest you should start making your stand clear and start moving out of the box.
