I stayed at Metropark Mongkok, its just above Prince Edward Station. Its not extremely classy but it is acceptable. | |

I stay at Cosmo, boutique hotel. Abt S$120 a day. Or Alternatively, if you are going to Shenzhen, you can stay in Shenzhen hotel, Usually take 50% at least for big rooms. Safe also.

Cheap, Convenient and Good service.
not a highclass hotel but it's good.
got breakfast included also. BUFFET Breakfast...

This might not be what you are looking for but I thought I should just share.
I went to HK a few years ago in December and they had a conference too so most hotels were fully booked or the rooms were really really expensive.
So I searched for hostels instead and ended up staying at http://www.dragonhostel.com/
It's really convenient since its just opposite 女人街 (Ladies Street) and the owners are really really nice and friendly.
But don't expect anything classy since it's just a hostel.

I stayed at YMCA last time near Mongkok area. Very convenient and affordable, about $100 a day only. Walking distance to the MTR and pasar malam shopping area.  Rooms are small but if you are the type who just go back, shower, plonk and sleep, its more than enough. Hehe. Save the money for shopping and makan what! its better to stay near to the city area... less transport time.
Kimberly Hotel? located at tsimshatsui, kowloon
or...

I think the pricing is prob cos of location.
Gotta be careful cos there was a budget hotel that got closed down due to bank loan | |

im going to HK next mth, and i have booked Metropole Kowloon. Any comments on this anyone? Tokyo is a cool place to go & i want My Root Beer Float, Ice-cream Waffle, Curly Fries back!
