I would advise against it. the hk disneyland sucks big time. they only have 3 of the 5 areas, their parades are not as nice, and their rides are all smaller/lesser versions of the original rides but the queues are just as long as in the other disneylands ... ... and the price is not much lesser than going to a full-fledged disneyland some more... i feel it's better save up the money to go to the real deal

Tung Chung there got plenty of factory outlets that sells sports & other products too..
The price is relatively cheaper than what u saw in SG..
For more fashion & trendy clothes, u can head down to Prince Edward (太子) station, after exiting the station look for a build named Allied Plaza..
In this building, there are plenty of shops that sell trendy clothes (Japanese style) somehow similar to bugis street & HMV's heeren.. |

I recommend you to go to OCEAN PARK. Its a very nice theme park. Nv ren jie is a nice place to shop. Remember to bargain oh !
Avenue of stars is a nice placee too !
Take the ferry ride to macau (serious motion sickness !) and can go to the casinos there. Lisboa casino is quite popular there.

yah, ocean park is good, i loved it the 1st time i went like 5 years ago.... it's too bad, that that sub-standard disneyland is stealing its customers =(
hey, last year when i went to HK, i didn't go in but i noticed there was a huge portion of ocean park under renovations. Is it finished? what new things do they have? |
