With a Higher Nitec Cert.. hw far can a person go and earn huh??

depend on wat kind of job you are in.... I am also a higher nitec holder or formerly call ITC cert. i know of few of my friend work in enginnering co. start pay from 1.5k onward..

sErious.. start from 1.5k ar.. hmhm mine is Multimedia Cert... hope can land in this industry ba... nw i am confuse nt sure wan to further my studies to get a dip cert ma

trust mi.....if u had the time....go further your study to at least a dip....then start working..better career prospect esp in theIT line you are major in..

yahhhh... a dip is still more favorable than a nitec.

hm.. ya but its like i am already 20 yrs old and is like kind of old to go and study for a dip...i rather take tat 3 yrs to go out and work or study part-time but i hv nt yet find a part time courses tat is major in multimedia... do u guys hv any idea??

eehhh 20 yrs old you say old..

cmon leh...it never to old too study de..and by doing your dip now, say in 3 yhrs, you will had land in a better job better then when you work now and study later...cos it nv easy doing part time study or might also give up studing after work life starts...basically it your choice in the end... humble opinion..

can work and study together mah... go for night classes.... by having a dip, you will go further lor... then can better help your family....

go for private diploma.. first yr dip,2nd yr adv dip and 3 yr degree in MDIS.

It depend yourself actually...see if you wnat to study...and have the interest to study or not.....

I don't mean getting a diploma is not good...it is better if you can get a diploma.....

However...I must tell you...there are many people who have only Nitec cert and do pretty well in their life...Graduate from ITE is not as "terrible" as one seem...you may not earn a lot of money la...but you won't "starve to death" lah....

Don't purse the diploma just for sake of getting the cert....if you get into poly study the course you not interest you..or not your future dream job...you also sianz right?

Somemore what if you fail your poly course how? retake the modules? then need money right? Imagine how much you going to spend when you are in poly...so I will advised you to study if you really have the heart to study....basically is don't waste your parent money la...spare a thought for them...if not go out to work also can....or study part time also can...

Of course getting a diploma is always better...but it is no guarantee...Actually I also worried to go poly...because my English really suck.....

...don't know can adapt to poly environment or not...

20 is not too old i start my dip at 21 some people in my class is even older than me.

You didn't come for the Poly talk last thursday meh?

NYP got part-time dip for adult......only 3 hours per day...

but took 4 years...longer time to complete...but the cert you get is equal to the full time poly diploma...

Well...this for people who want to study...

Do me,certs arent that important.Go find a job u like or pay well.It doesnt have to be engineering field or technical stuff.How many pple work different from what they study?
Unless you are really on for what you study,don study just to wait for paycheck everymonth.
