Hi Guys,

I'm new here btw. been reading the forum for abt 2 days.

I need advise on 2 balls that my friend is offering me.

Storm Thunder Power and Raging inferno. What's the difference between this 2 balls?

I cannot find any information abt the thunder power on the storm website.

But i think it shud be suitable to ask u this question??
What's the weight of the 2 balls?
and what's ur height n weight?
The ideal weight of your bowling ball should be 10% of your body weight.

Regarding the difference between the 2 balls [ I havent heard of a Thunder Power, only ThunderStruck ],
i think we can wait for the more experience bowlers to answer that. haha

You sure got the name of storm ball correct ?

Storm has a whole series of thunder ball but no thunder power.

weight of both balls are roughly the same. ard 14 plus.

i'm also using a 14 plus ball now so the weight is ok to me.

and ya it's thunder power alright. i also find it strange. can't find it on the storm website.

i think i read somewhere that it's a export version of some sort.

from what i gather, thunder power was launched in late 2000, and approved by USBC in jan 2001. however, seems that there are no details available about the ball in the internet.

i have no idea abt the price then but my friend is selling the thunder power to me at 80 and the raging inferno at 100.

i can't decide which one to buy so i took the thunder power to test first. luckily the grip and span is abt the same.

hmmm i would say i'm a beginner with a avg of 150+.(stroker)

currently i'm using the storm hot rod but this belongs to my friend and he wants it back.

so LL have to source for another ball.

hmmmm... no proper training can have 150+ average... like dat if got proper training, you can be a national bowler liaox... hahahahaa... jk jk....

i'm just looking into playing more seriously nowadays cos my bowling kakis machiam disappearing. everyweek only 3 of us playing. kinda boring after a while.

always envy those big groups that play together. more competition also. hahaha

lol ya no worries. but anyway im a brunswick fan, so i''ll prefer the inferno..many storm fans here..so u can ask them on their views. still depend on u actually. most impt is u like the ball, so everytime u bowl also happier.hahaha.
