no. exercise does work.
eat healthy. no junk food if you want fast results. eat only nuts, green leafty vegetables, meat, that includes mutton, chicken, fish, beaf, pork, no rice, noodle, pasta. basically eat food thats high in fat, high is protein, less in carbohydrates. fat wont make you fat, its carbohydrates that makes one balloon. to understand more about diet, google atkin or anabolic diet. either one works.
i dont understand about detoxing. if your diet is clean enough, whats there to detox? anywhere, just my 2 cents worth, no hard feeling
for quick exercises, do high intensity interval training. its not like jogging, slow and uneffective. hiit takes less than 10 mins and is proven to be effective! if youre really determined to slim down, try weight training as well. if not, do hiit first. better than nothing.
lastly, pls check with your doctor whether youre fit enough to engage in any strenous exercises.
