You can first decide a theme for your blogskin, & all the color variations & stuffs (:

Webmonkey has color codes you can use,
& DeviantArt has images you can use, but rmb to ask for permission from the creators & credit them! ^^

For my own blogskin I started from a basic base code & added in some scripts ^^

Yeah you need to understand some basic codings on website design before you can start designing blogskins.

I guess souless' weblink should help ba. You can use the codes there as a base to start creating your blogskins (when you're editing your blog of course).

im super slow learner .
took me quite a while to get hold of ps .

now im same like you .
noob at codes and such - -

try using dreamweaver :] to do ur skin

It's a software that helps you to create webpages even easier than source code.

It's not free though....

But well..you can dl the trial version and see for yourself... It's pretty useful :p (Just search it at www.adobe.com)
