What brands are you considering? Don't buy Philips products. LCD TV can consider Samsung or LG. Actually i think Palladine quality also looks very good. Pricewise I not very familiar nowadays. But they are very affordable compared to 1 or 2 yrs ago.

hd tv are cheap cause maybe more and more people are changing from those CRTs , and maybe new models with bettter contrasts and functiond are coming so those cheap ones yu buy maybe are old phase out models so better to check the specs of yr tv

yea older model, or else i wont have been able to get a 42" HD for this price. $1400 nia leh. but, it is a good model if you look at the specs, albeit an old one.

i saw carrefour ps selling palladine, 37" hd ready for $899 with free DVD player worth $99.. but dun trust brands like palladine and akira leh, rather pay abit more for like samsung.

prices are dropping cos of the market competition and demand lor, so many players now. its very much a norm for LCDs in households.

yea usually they accept trade in, but i dunno during the sale also accept anot. no idea when the sale will end, maybe while stocks last, so go down as soon as you can lor..

if u can afford....i suggest u go for HD plasma..... HD LCD = shit.... i wasted.... bt of cos if u dont waste HD movies den dont spend the $$$

typical HD plasma 32" will cost u abt 3999..... 42 and 52 will cost u abt 6-7k respectively..... its a lot of diff.... if u serious abt it go to aldepli there those pro audio shops go take a look u can test all the models with any titles u like be4 u buy.....

good models will be like pioneer.... hitachi and sony...

usually they do, cos i traded in my CRT there. but now that the sale is on, i dunno trade ins will have further reduction in price or not..
