Ok, rather they get all flustered if they have to say those three words and words of affection. Of course I do know of people who offers them generously. And usually, they say that to everyone as well. Hee.
In fact, those who are reluctant in saying them could instead, be the most sincere ones. And be aware that guys do say 'I love you', albeit in a less romantic way. They think that tangible actions, like fixing your fridge and mowing your lawn or bringing you a cold press when you are having a toothache, are actions that show their love.
So despite all that macho bravo, they are secretly shy hermits inside who blush readily at the notion of confessing their love. But that really, does not mean they don't love you.
But at the other end, there are the commitment-phobic ones who refuse to say I love you because they know it's a big thing, and by saying it, you will think it is a big thing. They can say anything, and whisper whatever sweet-nothings, but it seems that the three words is so heavy laden with responsibility and defintion that they try to avoid saying it.
That said, all girls wish to hear them sometimes. And it can be easily misunderstood if the males are not receptive to touchy-feely expressions and adoration of love. So guys, I advise you to make it a habit in saying I Love You.
