can anyone pls advixe me on this issue....

currently place a order with kah motor for a honda jazz

currently opt for 4 bids non guaranteed coe....

wat the diff when they say 4 bids non guarantee coe at 12k and 3 bids guaraanteed coe at 13k???

wat if the nxt coe bidding result come out to be 17k or higher does the buyer nid to do top ups???

hope someone here could explain it to mi

guarranteed coe = within 3 bids of coe u cfm will get the coe even if the coe is higher thn wad u pay for.

non guarranteed coe is if all bids for coe fail thn u got no confirmed coe..

just go for the confirm COE if u got the cash.. dun bother to wait for the none confirm one.. cause they will just bide very low..

tottaly agree with u 1 k more only rite? just give lor ... u just think of the inconvenience..... i think shld be more thn the 1 k worth :biggrin4:

True true. Just pay abit more and get your car. If all your non guarantee coe bids fail, you don't get your car. Then you'll have to wait again.

Can you bid for the coe yourself and then buy a car after that?

I dun think so.. think only the big players can bide COE.. cause when I buy my subaru.. it's not Motor Image who bide for me.. it's their boss, Tan chong who bide for my COE... :handsup:

one more pt to add.. it's better to get someone u know or a good SE recommand... if not.. if they so call guarantee COE for 6 bids.. u might just get it on the last bid... happen to my frd.. the feeling of waitin sux big time... :speechless:

ok thanx alot...think i shld be chooseing the guaranteed coe..

so when they write this 3 bids guaranteed coe by 3 oct 07 (coe rebate at 13k) wat this usually mean???

If coe is more than 13k do i still get the car???

hmm.. thou the other post u wrote that u'll be collecting ur ride soon?

anyway, just choose the guarantee one la.. no pt tryin ur luck..

they wrote coe rebate at 13k.. believe that will be the max they will give.. cause u might end up gettin the open cat, but lower than 13k.. this happen to me.. but i choose to accept cause dun wanna wait.. :biggrin4:

The rebate thing is that they'll bid your COE at 13k. But if the coe pricing comes out to be only 12k, they pay you back the 1k. If the coe pricing is at 14k or 15k, they'll do the top up for you and you don't need to fork out money. The 2nd situation depends on your luck. If your 13k bid goes through but the coe is more than 13k, your car dealer will have to top-up.

erm.. under-bid I doubt so.. most of the chance are u will need to top up.. seldom on chance of them rebateing...

Neh. My dealer told me last time that he only bid 12k for my car. He also said that if COE is higher than 12k, I don't need to pay extra. But in the end my COE is only around 10k. I got back a cheaque of 1kplus for the rebate.
