I will be going Gold Cost and Sydney in October.
Is there any brands well known in Australia,
For instance, Coach is a MUST BUY in US.
What is it for australia?and what is good to buy there?
Pls advise..

Pls advise.. | | | | | If you're going to the Gold Coast, look for Harbour Town north of Surfer's Paradise. It's between Gold Coast and Brisbane; that area is known for its factory outlets. It's just off the M1 expressway so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I bought some really nice stuff there, it's a whole shopping mall area with lots of parking.
One piece of advice I'd give is don't do too much shopping in Surfer's Paradise. The prices there are a little higher, and it's a tourist trap. If you decide to head into Brisbane, let me know. I could point you to a few places to do some shopping.

They have a Bazzar there every weekend, where they sell a lot of stuff. On the first Saturday morning of every month, there is a farmer's market there too. Really cheap fruits, vegetables, and seafood.
I used to make it a point to walk by there on my way home from Uni every Friday evening, it's a really great way to start the weekend.

Do cater for 1 day each at each theme park so that you have ample time to have fun there. |

Foodwise (of course) I used to go to this jap restaurant, serves very good unagi don and the best agadashi toufu i've had so far. Ok from the main road, at the junction where the right turns into the casino, make a left turn instead and another left to go into a smaller road and it'll be on the left beside the road. It's not far, can't miss it. Unless it's closed already of course. They also have very pretty japanese waitresses. Tanned surfer girls. *whew* |
