im goin too =/ heard that perth doesnt have anything much, except the scenery. not sure bout that tho.

gd 4 u, overseas field trips are fun... i havent got a chance to experience such trips yet

coz last time when i was studying there, my frens were able to go to Perth too for fieldtrip.

perth city itself you can appreciate the architecture and the botany in king's park..
if you go to the outskirts like lancellin you can do sand boarding, 4WD experience in a desert etc.
margaret river you can go for wine tasting...
go to some wildlife park like caversham wildlife park and kuddle a koala and feed the kangaroos if its your first time in aussie.

i love the place there. Its not a shopping place but more to relaxation and scenery kinda thing..love the beaches and the orchards..

OMG.. kings park is like so nice at night lor.. the diff colour trees..den we went to the sand dunes.. but i didnt get to sandboard.. coz half the time we were like trying to cover our face l;or.. wasted le.. we go margaret river for the choc company.. not for wine tasting.. haha..
