The best place for turtle soup is Tai Seng Shan Rui (????). I have been eating there since 1980s. The main shop is in Upper Paya Lebar and they have other shops in Geylang Lor 3 i think.

For more cost effective, I always go to the Food Center in Kelantan Lane near Sim Lim Tower. 1 serving is only $8 for a generous portion. The soup base is the best among all options that I have taken.

Hope that you enjoy my recomendations as much as I do.

old kallang airport hab.. not bad thou..

but dun encourage eating turtle soup for now.. cos they r gg to extinct alr!

Just nice today me n my bf discuss abt dis.. turtle are getting extinct.. even w/o those villagers go dig out their egg once a yr(they lay egg once a yr) the chance is only 0.05% of survivor.. plus nw village staying near sea in msia start digging for their egg.. the percentage drop to 0.01% le..

so poor thing... :cry3:

Use Street Directory to locate Kelentan Lane. (I cannot post URL as I have less than 10 post. )

The food center is blk 588 at the entrance of the kelantan lane.
There are 3 stalls there selling turtle soup. I always patronise the "Fu Hua" stall.

Besides turtle soup, you can also try the Shark Meat and frozen pig's trottle. There are many good food in this food centers that have been operating there for more than 20 years.

Go try out and I am sure u will like it.

agree....they dont even know the difference between fresh water turtle and saltwater ones...the turtle soup tat we normally eat uses the fresh water turtle and they are not endangered or anything. Funny thing is...chicken pig beef also cruel..but i dont see anyone complaining.
