Total SGC$: 33.00 | Getting Started Hi,
My son bought a PlayStationPortable last night. It comes with an array of things. However, I suspect they are not meant for local market. I now have questions pertaining to these.
Among others, it comes with a 'Quick Reference' guide. This is printed in Japanese. Where can I find an English version?(I have found psp manual at playstation.net, but they cover more advance topic, I have not even pass assembling the psp)
The included power charger is not local. The pin is different and has a voltage of 125V. I have bought a universal charger(250V). I have not plug it in to charge for fear of damaging it. Please advise.
Thank you.
* I have read some threads here but could not find what I need. If there is forum for beginners, please point to me. |

Thank you for the insight. I bought two items. - A 2-in-1 data/charger cable.
- A univesal adapter.
The former charges via pc and electrical outlet in the latter. |

i can assure that your son's psp is an export set. it does not come with local warranty.
the manual book form the export psp from either japan or taiwan will always be in japan language.
set from japan / taiwan are always come with 2 pin charger.
it is ok to use that charger. bt u need to buy the universal plug for that.
btw, can i ask how much ur son bought it? Bear Bear Family Tree Club

Why? Is it because: - Battery fault/fake.
- Cable fault.
Anyway, do not need the usb cable as could transfer via card reader.

Total SGC$: 1,763.55 | Re: Getting Started i not sure about the usb transfering. i tried it once and it is very slow . this is because it have to go thru a middle person (which is ur pc/laptop) from the a/c
i din use the usb charge function b4 so i cant tell u anything for that.
if u can charge ur battery thru a/c and when its full bar, ur son can play for at ;least 2hr+ till the battery run dry, that means the battery is in gd conditionand ur charging point is not spoilt.
as for transfering games, u can plug in memory stick in the memory stick adpator and insert into the card reader to transfer files.
u oso can plug in a usb cable via ur pc and transfer too... Bear Bear Family Tree Club
