only if they earned their respect. not so in this case. imagine the humiliation the victim is already suffering and the punishment will force her to never recover from the incident emotionally. if her husband can understand she is a victim in this case. how can the law see otherwise.

She is punished for going to the media and explaining her case? how can that earn any respect as it shows the law has smth to hide. if they didnt, they wldnt have to penalise her for going to the media.

unless they are charging her for defamation, there is no excuse why they are increasing her sentence.
