i like this colleague. we were initially good buddies. but i guess, i crossed the line. i try to stop myself from liking him. avoided him and stuff. he knows that i am avoiding him. but i am not sure if he knows the reason. and now, he is also giving me cold shoulder.

i am pretty sad now. but i dont know the reason why i am feeling this way. i should be glad that he is "helping" me to forget him. haha... seriously, i am confused.

Hmm maybe you can take a step forward and tell him? Or remain like that or start to drift apart? Like you said you avoided him? Maybe he is offended becos of you doing that?

i dont think i will let him know how i feel. because if he doesnt feel the same way, it will be harder for us to work together.

well in my opinion, you basically have 3 options larr.

1. tell him how you feel. this'll probably end up with a ruined or improved relationship. can go either way depending on the guy. if he feels the same way, then its all good larr. but if not then things are just gonna get awkward. i'd recommend this option ONLY if u can tahan the later ending. good thing about this though is that you'll finally get the feeling off your chest. =)

2. get over it. probably the most difficult thing to do and will most probably incite regret later on. but if you really can't stand being rejected, you absolutely have to move on. most girls would use other guys to get over current crushes but i think doing that could seriously damage your conscience.

3. let things remain the way they are. don't tell him how you feel, don't avoid him, just behave like the way you used to around him. you'll probably feel uncomfortable, you might even feel nauseous when you're with him, but over time, you'll probably get used to it.

anyways, don't dwell on this too much. us young people should get out and have fun! no point in worrying. =)

actually, i don't have the guts to tell him how i feel. guess, its the fear of rejection. i feel so paiseh whenever i am friendly to him and he is still giving me cold shoulder.

well personally, if a guy gives me the cold shoulder, i'll just ignore him. XD but i guess you really like this guy huh? maybe you should ask him why he's treating you that way. or if you don't dare, get a trusted colleague to pry it from him. a male colleague would be best! :biggrin4:

i think the best thing to do would be to find out why he's treating you that way. find a spy! XD get a guy to casually ask him why he seems so unfriendly to you or something like that. the guy has to be someone you can really trust though, and won't spread it around!
