this might be caused by damage to your UMD lens. you'll have to bring it to a shop to diagnose and fix as i do not think it's a brick.

Thumbs up for HiLMi. You provide great service

I once bricked my PSP, but I revived it.

My psp fat is a hard mod.. According to qisahn, i can't use multiplayer la. Don't really mind that but the prob is i can't play games like sims and fifa.. Veri lag and will hang even when i increase the cpu speed to the highest. And sometimes when i run games, the psp will shut down itself. When i switch on and load the same game again, the game runs perfectly fine. This only happens recently so I'm pretty worried for my psp now.. Can anyone help?!
Thank you very much!

You need to re-install the customs firmware..
But what do you mean by your psp is hard mod?

back-up all the data on the stick to your computer and format the stick...
then try putting an iso again and see how it goes...
this should work most of the time...

Good luck at Sim Lim Sq. My advice for you, ask a adult who is fierce to go with you to Sim Lim Sq. If not i m sure they will chop you.
