FOC Board Games and Comics Reading Session (28 April 2007)

In another thread, I read that there are quite a number of people who are interested in board games and some would like to learn how to play them. So, I have arranged for a free session for our fellow SGClubbers. Since I am pretty new here in this forum :handsup:, can I request for someone senior to help me handle the attendance list and I will do the rest of the arrangements? :biggrin4: Some of the more popular board games available are World of Warcraft, Doom, War of the Rings, Mall of Horrors, House on a Hill, Dividends, Cashflow, Guilotine and etc. They have a large collection of comic books too. I have also managed to arrange for the free reading of the comic books from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. but unfortunately no borrowing is allowed.

Btw, I have been informed by the Club members that they will be organising a BBQ dinner on that day. The time for the BBQ is from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The cost of the BBQ is S$5 per head.

Venue: Bukit Batok Community Club
Date: Saturday 28th April 2007
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (BBQ Dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.)
Cost: Free for Board Games and Comics Reading Session but S$5 Required for BBQ Dinner

Secondary meeting place (for those that do not know how to go to Bukit Batok Community Club) will be at the McDonalds next to the Bukit Batok MRT Station. Time to meet will be from 1:30 p.m. onwards.

Sorry to interrupt , i dont think is necessary to put " For those staying in the west " cos others may mistaken that onli those staying in the west can join, and you will have alot of reply like .. not from west can join. I think jus put down the location will do.. it up to others to decide whether they wan to travel there to join the outing or not.

That's a good idea Mochalicious! Sorry, I had some remarks earlier from people staying in the east saying that Bukit Batok is a bit far and so I post my thread as "for those staying in the west".

Anyway, I will edit my thread heading. Thanks for the feedback.
