The fundamentals to financial freedom are no secrets. They are:

1) Work hard (at your job/business)
2) Spend within your means
3) Save
4) Invest
5) Go back to 1)

The reality is that many of us focus on the income part and neglect the expense. We gratify ourselves with today's wants forgoing tomorrow's needs.

What it takes for us to achieve financial freedom is focus, discipline and a strong sense of purpose to take charge of our financial destiny and not let it take charge of us.

Robert Kiyosaki makes some good points but he didn't make his money from selling real estate. He made his money selling his "Rich Dad Poor Dad" books using MLM channel.

Other books like the "The Richest Man in Babylon" by Clason is where some of his ideas come from. Also read Napolean Hill's "Think and Grow Rich"... An oldie but a goodie. :-)

Be well and prosper.

Great points highlighted there. :mellow3:

There are always 2 side to everything, the good the bad, earning and spending, invest and returns, ying and yang, haha guess too much bullS**t from me.

But I still to the 2 side theory and it does help me to see things from different angles. So that I won't miss out anything just bcos some one said something before. :biggrin4:

It works for my style, guess everyone will have to find their style that suits them.

Best Regards

Aston

Interesting stories from shareinvestor.com

I subscribe to that forum and there are many learned investors in the forum. Not all make money and there are many wisecracks there but one learns a bit more about the market surfing that forum!
