Fann Wong hounded by media after Lee's release from jail

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp actress Fann Wong said on Wednesday that reporters and photographers are still staking out her home, even though her boyfriend, actor Christopher Lee, has been released from jail.

Lee was freed on Monday after serving time for a drink-driving offence.

In an interview with Channel NewsAsia, Fann revealed that the media caused so much disturbance that security guards at her condominium had to call the police.

A team of four were camping outside Fann's condo on Wednesday morning, and when she appeared in her car, a photographer positioned himself in front of her vehicle and snapped away.

Fann said reporters had gathered outside her home ever since her boyfriend was sent to prison in late May. But the situation has worsened since last week.

"The worst part would be when they saw my car and dashed forward, taking photographs and asking for interviews. It scares me and I can't tell if there are cars behind or in front of me. So I will stop. I believe this is very dangerous," said Fann. - CNA/yy

if the reporters want to get her response, they shld either arrange a appointment or request for a mass press conference to be held instead. WHat they are doing is dangerous, nt only to themselves but also to Fann Wong. She could have knocked them down.
