If u think carefully, your family are the ones who will NEVER leave you. U can quarrel with ur mum/dad today, and yet deep down they still love you as much as before.

After seeing how upset my friends were when someone from their families passed away, I realised I'm very very fortunate that my parents are still healthy.

Did u even notice 1 strand of white hair on ur mum/dad? Coz I noticed them. And somehow my heart ache when I see my dad working so hard for so many years for this family. His white hair increasing with each passing days. Age catching up on him and everything. I really wish I can contribute more to the family so as to lighten his burden. Let my parents enjoy retirement days asap. Sorry, getting kinda emotional over here.

Anyway, my message is very simple. Treasure your family members. U never know when is the last day you'll see them.

And look at how well you are being brought up, that's because your parents worked hard and provided u with the best. The best repayment to them is to study hard and pave a future for yourself. And take good care of them when they are old.

Well, start doing sth to make ur parents happy eh? Family members shouldn't bear grudges. :mellow3:

indeed! i still remember very well that whenever i quarrel on the phone with my ex... my parents will look very worried. they wont ask too much... but yet they make it a point to make me know that they are there and will always be there for me.

after the relationship ended, i told all my friends. be it your gf/bf hurt you in a thousand and one ways, be it how much you wish to be dead... please remember you still have a family to be responsible for. coz end of the day if something happen to you, they will be the only one that will really cry out from the hearts are them.

i agree! my heart ache too when i see both of my parents working hard. i used to complain alot about not getting this and that and compare with other ppl's parents but now i know how hard they tried to give the best for me and my sibs. i really do treasure them and love them.

but i shy leh wanna say i love you to them. hahaha.

Doesn't apply to me then. All my parents did was made love and abandon me at my grandparents. If anything, I'd repay my grandparents for my upbringing and not my parents for anything at all.

what comes around goes around orh.... they might have missed out their roles during your childhood, but i am sure they still provide for you.

yar..true..i rem once when i got locked up in some places..they will take effort to come and visit every 2 wks..and the worse thing is they have to walk an hour to reach the place...wait for an hour to see me for a 20 mins..i began to realise their love for me..so nonetheless..our parents are the ones that will stay by you no matter wat state are u in...

even those ppl that beat up their parents and call them to go beg for money for them to spend...their parents did tat willingly jus out of love..

so whenever i see my parents so hardworking..i will get emotional..i told myself tat i will let them retire at early age and go round the world...all paid by me..

I feel so guilty everytime after I shouted at them. I didnt do it on purpose but I just feel so irritated at that moment. And always, I regreted it after that on that night... They are getting older and I hope they can live till the day I am able to support them. I will give them the best!

awww... it makes me wanna cry after reading all ur post..

ya.. sometimes.. i will tink alot of things b4 i sleep and sometimes to the extent of crying..den i will start to regret why sometime i so bad towards them.. why i din obey their words etc..

den this few days my mum asked me to pluck out her white hairs.. though onli a few strands.. but its a sign of aging liao.. coz last time she dun have it de..
and my mum last time had always brewed lots of tonic soup for us to drink.. thats why we are healthy and hair very black. but nowadays or after the birth of my nephew 2 years ago.. she cut down the frequency of doing that..

my bro n sis-in-law din put in any effort to look after their own kids.. so my mum was the one who look after him day n night.. even early in the morning also my mum got to wake up early to send him to childcare.. haiz.. why cant his own parents do all this..

and whenever she is sick, she oso got to do all the housechores, looking after my nephew etc..

whenever i tot of any day my parents may leave me.. i will cried.. coz i definitely will miss them like mad.. and regret all my wrongdoings.. but by that time will be too late.. and i always wanted to do smth for them.. but end up always doing the opposite. i was so unfilial..haiz..

i hope that i could faster step out to the society and earn lots of money for them. so that they can siang fu..

sometimes.. i will have some selfish thinking of dying be4 them..

coz i really cnt take the stress of living without them by my side..
