Exposed! Here's NSF who ranted about being inconvenienced by JI manhunt - Singapore's Online Community

STOMPer Shame On You says this is the National Serviceman who ranted about being inconvenienced by JI fugitive Mas Selamat.

He said he found the photo in the blog of the NSman, who goes by the nickname Dawn.

Wrote the STOMPer in his email to STOMP: "Is this the useless National Serviceman nickname Dawn who rants in the Friendster Blog about involving search for the JI Fugitive?"

The STOMPer said he came across the blog after reading the recent post from another STOMPer, Alpha Romeo, who was angered by the NSman's blog posting.

Alpha Romeo said the NSman, nicknamed Dawn, ranted against not only escaped terrorist Mas Selamat, but also the authorities for "ruining" his weekend and days of peace either sleeping in camp or having his meals, or even smoking illegally.

The STOMPer said he was shocked that a Singapore citizen expressed such sentiments when the entire nation was on full alert in search of Mas Selamat.

It was even more shocking to read the blog as this NSman was not even directly involved in the manhunt, he said.

He questions the behaviour and integrity of the NSman in camp, as he seemed to enjoy his NS days sleeping, eating and smoking.

He hopes the authorities would be able to contact the NSman and take the necessary actions to ensure that he serves his national service in a manner that would benefit him and the nation.

In his most recent email to STOMP, STOMPer Alpha Romeo says he believes some STOMPers have made negative comments on the article, thinking that he had a big fuss over something trivial, because they have not actually read the blog.

"The reason why I posted this article was because I couldnt understand how this NSF was behaving , in the face of a mini crisis faced by Singapore. And it also reflects how "effective" our National Education programme is," he commented.

"Would appreciate it if fellow STOMPers were enlightened on the blog content. Hopefully they would be able to differentiate my concern from a complaint thereafter," he adds.

STOMP has contacted MINDEF on its policy towards NSmen who reveal details about military service on their blogs.

.......i'm certain that Dawn isn't the only person who feels this way. the officers etc also surely think this way. it's human.
definitely even our Leader and the Man-in-Question also feels very inconvenienced, having to apologise to Sgreans.

Please man, What a bunch of bull by STOMPers. when STOMPer say the whole nation (himself/herself included) on full alert to search for Mas boy, Does the nation(himself/herself included) gets confined during weekend to do stdby???? i dun think so....

Does the nation (himself/herself included) has to wear a kevlar jacket to work like the police everyday?? i dun think so... Does the nation (himself/herself) have to scan thru all the vehicles and people so thoroughly to a state of exhaustion like the ICA officers? i dun think so??? So by taking foto of people in the sea frolicking, of woman buttcrack, of angmoh selling keychains or surfing internet for random shits to STOMP about makes the STOMPers more patriotic than the complaing soldier?? I DONT THINK SO!!!

Therefore, save us the i am so disgusted by the general public becuz of so and so bull shit. i don't appreciate it, particularly when the article is being STOMPed..
