Hi all, interested in going for a short getaway trip to get away from the sweltering heat here in Singapore... hence decided to go Cameron for its cool weather (Dun want Genting as had gone there many times already...)

As this will be my first time going there, hope those who'd been there before can advise me on what to expect, what to do or what can be done there?

How about accom? Strawberry Park Resort or Hotel Equatorial better? How about in terms of some form of shopping for food (dinner, snacks) & souvenirs, which has more option & more accessible?

That's why dunoe if it's worth to extend the stay there if there's nothing much to be done there... Think 3 days should suffice for a short getaways... :rock:

Most of the packages by the agencies to Cameron are by coaches... You may go down to GM to check out the variations among the different agencies...

I am thinking of going there as well, its more for nature lovers, hence its nothing much to see except gardens, plantations. Are u driving there or are u taking a bus? If driving maybe I can follow along.....heehee

Sorry Omron, most probably taking coach up there... Dun think a good thing to drive up there for various reasons: safety, familarity with roads & places etc...
