Seriously, MLM market has always been for the taking. Just too many black sheeps tarnish the image the public has. But "advertising" here is kinda "unprofessional" for traditional MLMs. New-age MLMs that does Internet Marketing or Affiliate Marketing, I personally dun consider them as true blue MLMs.

Anyway, there is no right or wrong. Those who make money will say good, those who didn't will say not good. Simply as that. As for people who don't know anything, it's best we just see. Anyway, it is always better to look for more sources of incomes no matter MLM or not. Agree? Just like some people saying I can't make money in stock market without mentor.

But the fact is that, others are seeking my advice to buy stocks. Conclusion is that results shown. The morale of the story is that we should see who are showing results. If one person say making 100k is easy and the other person will say bullshit. Anyway, the truth will reveal itself.

As for advertising, do agree there are more MLM advertisements but there are others as well. As long as it doesn't harm or cheat others, it would be fine.

It is best to find sources of income and move on with life.

I guess perhaps I should explain further. My point of view regarding true blue MLMs are that they have a list of products that can be sold repeatedly and not just once. All business, in order to survive, sell their products. For a long term business, you would need a steady stream of repeat customers. Most of the New-Age MLMs I see or perceive (I may be wrong) are only a one-time purchase. From a business point of view, how can the business survive in the long run?

I would encourage anyone who are interested in making money to join an MLM company cos it is frankly the best source of residual income. Robert Kiyosaki in his book, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" mentioned that and in his subsequent works, mentioned it again and again. If a guru like him has said it that many times, it cannot be just a myth.

Singaporeans are so adverse to MLM because of their initial introduction to it in the early years or because of the way your friends have approached you. But frankly, if you have been to Taiwan, you would have realised that almost every Tom, Dick or Harry would have encountered an MLM programme by age 30. They believe strongly in it.

Therefore, be positive. MLM programmes can really bring you riches.

I had tried a few MLM before years back and I will not say it is really a big money earner but it sure help build up one confidence.

If you were to ask me, I would say MLM is not for everyone hence like nomad mention, do your research first and ask yourself if you are ready for MLM before stepping in.

Don't invest in quick rich scam but rather something brick and mortar. It should have a solid system and have people to coach you. More importantly, must have someone successful that are willing to share the secrets with you to become successful.

O ya forgot to add the my rule to investing.

- Only invest what you can afford to lose!

This rule allow me to invest and yet dun feel so bad if things did not turn out as expected. Of cos losing money sure heart pain but at least it is what I can afford to lose right.

This industry is simpler.Have a trustable face, a so called wonder product and make people buy under yr hard sell technique. If u can do the above, $$$ will be rolling in regardless of the company. Same for insurance line too.
