Well, it depends on how long you wanna go...

My godparents went for a tour to Europe with SA Tours, and they raved sooooo much about it. Maybe you can look at their itinerary and have some inspiration. Switzerland is definitely worth going.

They went to Spain and Portugal too, but they pale in comparison to the places mentioned in the above itinerary.

Other European places I recommend include Prague and Italy (Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Pisa).

I'm not sure what to buy in Europe, but I know the big brands in Milan (e.g. LV) are cheaper than Singapore. The watches (in Switzerland) are worth buying too. If you want to go Spain, Zara and Mango came from there, so they're cheaper too.

If you are going Switzerland, buy those chocolates and Rolex watches. they are relatively cheaper there than singapore

Not true for the Rolex watches. You will see a lot of shops, especially Bucherer, claiming that there Rolex watches are the cheapest in the world, being Swiss made and what not. But you can get the same model at a much cheaper price in Singapore after the discounts given at the shops.

The reason? Labour costs in Switzerland is sky high. Hence even though it is Swiss made, they need to pay the salesgirl commission etc...hence the prices are not as cheap as it ought to be

Europe is a large place. Very hard to explore fully if you are only going to visit for 2 or 3 weeks.

If it is your 1st time, suggest that you go with a tour group and have a quick glimpse of the different european cultures in that 1st trip and then revisit in the future for more in depth sight seeing.....

I love Europe! :biggrin4:
