Do you need to write down when A give back keys? Because since you wrote down A took the keys, it is under A's responsibility until she give it back.

ya. 'A' should be responsible for the keys no matter what, since she sign out for it. dun take the blame for it. and there's no way 'Z' can make u responsible for it.

if it's the company's policy on punctuality, i feel that u should stick to it. if u r late too often, then u should make an effort to ensure that u will not be late again.

The new excuse is for being late.

Anyway, in this case. You can tell B that A still have the keys. And it is A responsibility to not give B the keys because A's name is still in your log. In this case, its simply A's fault for losing the keys because you have proof that you given it to A and A have not returned it yet. As for who A gave it to, its not your concern anymore.

Btw, you are receptionist. And receptionist have godly powers and you are the god in your own domain. That includes everything in your table and everything assigned to you. Even if Z, needs to borrow the keys, you MUST let her sign. And remind them that if they don't have return signiture, it means they lost it. It seems you have unsupportive boss, so you need to protect yourself.

Just tell A, keys not yet return and you appreciate if A is like keys and also not to return.

Next time A sign to collect keys and come back to ask you for it. Ask her back why she never sign to return the keys. Its no longer ur responsibility if she fail to return. If B comes along ask the same question to u, shoot them back and ask why they never sign "collect & return" for the stupid keys. So dun get too upset.

As for being late, I think bobian wan. As a receptionist must be at least punctual or earlier than the rest..Make it a point to reach earlier ba. If sway sway late, den come up with another new excuse. Haha.

For the keys issue, always let the person sign out and it is on the person's onus that he returns the key back to you for others to sign out. Don't take verbal agreements

i think if A took the key, then A wanna gif to B,

for the late, i reali think u need to go out of ur hse early..

for me.. my sch is 8.30...
but because of the bus..
i had to get out of my hse by 6.30am and sometime i even try to go out more early to avoid the crowd...
tat life in SG... no choice.... even if last time i drive.. i also will late coze of the accident... but bobian....
