Double choco chip cookie Ing:
115g/4 oz butter softened plus extra for greasing
55g/2 oz golden granulated sugar
55g/2 oz light muscovado sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
115g/4 oz plain flour
2tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonare soda
115g/4 oz milk choco chip
55g/2 oz walnut, roughly chopped
methods:
1: preheat oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4
then grease 3 baking sheets. place the butter granulated sugar and muscovado sugar in a bowl n beat until light n fluffy.Gradually beat in the egg n vanilla essence.
2: sift the flour,coca and bicarbonate of soda into mixture and stir in carefully.stir in the choco chip n walnut. drop the dessertspoonfuls of mixture on the prepare baking sheets, spaced well apart to allow for spreading
3: bake in the oven for 10-15min. or until the mixture has spread and cookie are beginning to feel firm. leave to cool on the baking sheet for 2 min den tranfer to wire rack to col down
cooking tips: the minimum cooking time will make the cookies soft n chewy in the middle.. the longer time cooking will make the cookie crisper.
