ok i know that the dota outing that cutepetz host was rather big group.. now how about this.

lets have a SGC dota competiton!

rules

. [ im changing this part] list down yr name if u are interested and i will draw lots to see who will go into whose team
. each team MUST have a group leader
. once we have comfirm on how many groups, each group will have a dota match either by playing on your own local area network OR going to the lan shop.
. leaders- are to report to me if u win or lose this match.
. the winning team would than move on to the next round and another new match would start again till we are left with 2 standing group.
. the offical match between the 2 last standing group would be during the next makan outing.
. the winner of the dota match would be crowned SGC's FIRST DOTA CHAMPIONS!

2000 SGC$ for gold members and above, 1000 SGC$ for members who are not at least gold members SPONSERED BY -Y-

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

Map: 6.43B

There will be test run / warm of 5min of the host..

Meaning a 5min warm up match will be played.. for players to config their settings and testing of laggness of the host....

Hero drafting:
1) The team that starts off the drafting will have 30secs to decide on the 1st hero, after which next team also gets 30 secs to choose their 1st hero. This process is repeated until all the heros are selected.

Team that fail to draft within 30secs will have their draft chance given to the other team.

2) If any team is found to have any hero which is selected differently from what was decided earlier, the referee has to be informed immediately. Team which made the mistake of selecting the wrong heroes after game starts will be penalised (Warning or Game Loss).

In any situation when any team did not select their heroes according to what they have decided, referee will use the heroes selection list recorded to verify if that team is guilty of making the mistake. Then referee award warning or game loss if the team is found guilty of making the wrong selection.

Game Play:

Backdooring
Backdooring in games is allowed. However, instances of teleport abuse are not allowed. You cannot use any form of teleport (furion skill, ignis fatuus, or Boots of Travel) to enter an enemy base UNLESS your creeps are already present in the base. So, for example, teleporting with Boots of Travel onto an ignis fatuus that runs in to backdoor is illegal. Another example is having your teamates backdoor and enters an enemy base and then teleport to your teamates as Furion. This is illegal because your creep wave is not present. Some of these measures have since been restricted in recent map versions in support of this rule.

Sharing of Items
No items are allowed to share among teammates. If droppable items are drop when player is killed, the player/teammates and enemy team is allow to pick up or to be destroy by teammates/enemy.Only Flask of Sapphire Water and mojollnir can be CAST onto teammates.It is not allowed to purposefully suicide to drop an item for another player

Abuses & Exploitation:

1. Trees Trapping (Disqualification):

Trapping enemies in trees intentionally is not allowed.

2. Pooling (Warning or Game Loss):

No pooling of any sort is allowed. This means that items bought with a player's own money cannot at any time be carried by any of his teammates. Items bought with the player's own money can only be carried or sold by him. This rule only applies to players on the same team. Players can pick up items dropped by their opponents.

3. Pause Abuse (Warning or Game Loss):

During hero selection. From the point after hero selection process is completed, pausing without any valid reason is disallowed.

4. Creep Blocking (Disqualification):

Creep blocking is not allowed but creep slowing is allowed. Blocking here refers to the prolonged blocking of creeps to disrupt their usual path. (ie: Using Chen's creeps to block the entire entrance of the base for a long time.) Creep slowing means that you can stop the creeps from moving in their usual path for a few seconds. (ie: Using fissure)

5. Bugs Exploitation (Warning , Game Loss or Disqualification):

No Exploitation of any known old or new bug discovered during play. Explanations like "exploiting/activating the bug unknowingly", "we had no idea this bug existed" or similar excuses will not be entertained. Participants/Teams are expected to know what these are.

Examples of Bugs:
Earthshaker using “Fissure” to target out of the edge of the map. Results in a fatal error in some instances. Any players found doing this will be disqualified.

6. No control sharing (Disqualification):

Strictly no control sharing. Only when there is one more or team mates disconnects, then you can share the control of that player(s)' hero. No using use of skills and no triggering of passive ability of the leavers /dc(ed) hero. However, you cannot take, pass or sell that hero's item(s).

What is no triggering of passive ability?

Example. Your team drafted silencer and tat silencer got dc(ed) and he has 1-4 level of last word..
Since he dc(ed) so sharing control of him is allowed BUT u are not allow to move him near a enemy or simply place him in fog of war to let lastword trigger


Disconnections


• Teams are persuaded to save their games frequently during a match in order to compensate for disconnects
• Disconnect before a hero has been killed: match restart
• Disconnect after a hero has been killed: If a savegame has been made within the last 15 minutes, then consult the rule below. If not then the game continues without the disconnected player.
• If team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2 during the period of the last savegame and the disconnection, then the disconnect is in the favour of team 1. For example:
- At the time of the savegame the score is 35-35
- At the time of the disconnection the score is 42-37 for team 1
- Since team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2, team 1 may now chose wether to continue the match or remake from the savegame.
• A tower counts for 3 kills when calculating this, an Aegis counts for ½ a kill rounding down.
• The teams must save game right after first blood
• If neither team is in advantage then an admin should be consulted, unless teams can agree to a decision by themselves.
• After a remake all players have to pick the same heros as before, and must go to the same starting lane. On initial creep contact, the players may change lane
• If the same player disconnects more than 3 times, then the opposing team may chose to continue the match without him.

Game crashes/Fatal error:

At the 30th minute mark, the game will be saved once for a back up save game. After the 30th minute mark every 15 minutes interval, the game will be saved for a back up save game. Head Marshal/ Marshals will have the right to ask players to save game during any period of the game.

Any game crash after 90 minutes will not be continued anymore and a decision will be made by the marshal of that match based on the replay of that match.

In the times of a game crash/fatal error, the referee's decision will be final. If the participant has any problems regarding the decision made by the referee, he/she can file a report to the organizers and it will be reviewed by the staff and referees.

A save game is outdated if since the save game;
- A tower/barrack has went down
- A total of 12 or more kills occurred . (Aegis charges lost count as kills)
- The net total kills changed by 4 or more. (Aegis charges lost count as kills)

Missing Player

In the case of a missing player the opponent has to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to give the other team the chance to reach him. Afterwards they may chose to claim a forfeit win, or they can play the match 4on5 or 4on4. A team may never play a match with less than 4 players. Fairplay might overrule unfair decisions ( in case a far stronger team is being forced to forfeit instead of playing 4on5 by a far weaker team )

Each team may only have two Mekansm
Each team may only have two Necronomicon
Each team may only have one Refresher Orb
Each team may only have one Arcane Ring
Each team may only have in total either

two Eul's Scepter of Divinity OR
two Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse OR
one Eul's Scepter of Divinity and one Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse
