its free for adoption to good home.. but aiyo looks like most of u dunno bout shelties.. brownie's lifespan can be up to 14-16years.. i just adopted my sheltie when he's 5plus too.. puppy onli cute for a while.. its whether u willing to commit lo.. yup.. still up for adoption!

those of you who have reared shetland before, will die die stick to this breed in future.. myself am a die-hard fan of this breed.. they're the most sensitive, intelligent, intuitive & beautiful breed i've ever come across.

but on the downside, be prepared for lots of grooming cos they are double-coated & furthermore shed a lot. another thing to note is they are also quite picky on food. mine even snub minced chicken, liver, low-grade canned food whereas i know most dogs will gobble everything down!!

this breed is also very 'vocal', but i think the females tend to make more noise.

oh and shetlands are not big la, its mostly fur..

yup.. brownie is considered small le.. u should see my boy.. he's the "bigger" type.. plus he's obese when i got him.. so ya lo.. he's still up for adoption! as for the other two.. turns out at the other forum that i've stupidly help person who's trying to scam or sth.. sigh..

my god... those tat adopt for free and sell out the dogs for financial gains, u mean? i heard of a few of such kind of ppl... tats the hard part about looking for adopters / fosterers, i guess, the screening takes a lot of time...

OMG LAH. shetland so cute!! i feel so so sad for it.. 3rd home. *shake head*

Sorry i hijack for awhile. I heard there's a pet shop somewhere also giving up all the dogs for adoption. 2 huskys, some others. If they are not adopted will be put down. =( sad case lah. i cant adopt liao. my collie already is not allowed in HDB.. =x

I saw that message also... About a Joo Chiat pet shop. Fake one, they're not put up for adoption... They're intending to sell the dogs, not put them up for adoption..

I tried calling them... Initially very helpful when I just asked about the dogs.. When I asked since it says adoption in the message, issit free? They cut off my line immediately...
