Everyday hors even at morning we sleeping Will got tis sound : "Marbles Dropping Sound" even at nite we all sleeping l0h aso got tat sound wonder wuds happening up dere i aso dun dere g0 D= help me i veri scaared and that sound is irritating and disturbing

it very normal, when the whole house is very quiet, will sure hear some weird sound, just don't think of it or care about it can solve the problem le

my neighbours upstairs oso noisy de. Late mid nite oso dragging furnitures de. I every time tell my mama, upstairs ppl kill ppl den chopping the body lor. If not y so late still so noisy. haha

My mum would use the bamboo stick for landury to KOkoKO my neighbour (above my unit ) and my dad would said ' stupid ', they stomp on the floor and you will lose them

it's normal as my neighbour upstairs always got the marbles and furniture dragging sound and been many years so used to it no need to be scared.

aiya its nothing..the newspaper already reported that it is due to the water pipes contracting at night (coz its cooler at night and nobody showering so no hot water flows through it) which makes the marble dropping sound.

Don't worry too much.
It could be the ways the flats are designed and the materials used for the construction that contribute to the ways sound wave travel. So the sound you heard coming directly upstairs may not be from your upstairs neighbours.

I remember last time reading something about this..dunno if its true..but they told me that the marbles are put in between the floors when they were buliding the flat to let those kiddy ghost to play at night so that they dont bother us..Im not sure if its true lah..=(

It could be only due to water pipes contracting...........instead of guessing, why not get a sibling to go up with u to check it out? Treat it as to satisfy your curiosity.....

lol, the water pipe theory is probably the most logical one. because i hear that marble dropping sound from above as well. and i stay in the top floor...

imagine the havoc it would wreck on my mind if someone is to deprove that theory
