if you wan to buy camera, get a fuji digital camera.nvr ever get a Kodak Camera,also dun buy kodak shares...Fuji will be the best digital camera brand

i did a reasearch on fuji and kodak before.fuji is better in terms of their strategy and their innovation.I also found out that Kodak has been borrowing a lot from bank in recent years to keep their cash flow deficit, meaning they are running negative cashflow for many years...a poorly-managed company is a lousy company.Fuji, on the other hand, has clear vision and strategy.And they exist much longer than other brands like olympus, hence they have better innovation.

I'm so sorry to interupt....
I'm a Canon 400D user and I find that Canon is not bad....
But the price of Canon usally drop very fast due to the new product launch very quickly....
Most of the pro will reconmend either Canon or Nikkon.....
Nikkon is more stable in price and have very nice shots....

i will recommend Canon, my ex-gf was a die-hard fan of the brand, in fact the quality of the pics also quite good, easy to use, but the knob/slider controls may got prob as time goes by

i will look for the optical zoom, not digital zoom cos it dont make the zoom any better

agreed with sgalextoh, the price and its freebies usually get better after a short while, so better to wait for Canon fair or PC show, u will get cheaper price and even more free gifts ~ :biggrin4:

my cam is Canon A530, with 4x optical zoom with 5 Mega Pixels, that time bought at $350. It's an old model now, there shld be better models at similar price ... check out http://www.canon.com.sg/index.cfm?fu...=digitalcamera

best to buy during PC show, u can browse all brands at once, better price with more freebies :rock:

In short, digital zoom is an artificial way to achieve a zoom-in effect of an object, it's just merely 'enlarge' the image of the object. Negatively, it will pixelate (the image will turns rough) and eventually lose its picture quality.
