Anyone using Canon PowerShot A640 or A630, Ixus 70? Which one is better n what e difference between a 2.5 LCD screen n 3.0 LCD screen? Is canon dc better or anyone got other brand to introduce?

Hmm... Powershot is quite big... but not sure of the model u mentioned... would prefer a olympus rather than canon... Using a Samsung anyway.... =D
2.5" is smaller than 3.0"... (fei hua) others than that... u can base on the pixel, weight etc to judge whether to buy a good camera or not...

Dear Krityqing

Canon PowerSHot Ixus 70 is definitely better. You can always hop by to big mega stores to hand on the sets and test it yourself. Please don't go Sim Lim as they will not let you try every sets. I recommend you to go Audio House becoz when I'm there, sales persons are friendly and they let me try every sets.

my views on digital camera based on what i've tried b4

fujifilm: produces more 'reddish' pictures. XD card expensive. fun camera to play with.
kodak: not durable. picture quality ok ok.
sony: high resolution LCD. picture quality good. BUT expensive accesories such as memory sticks and battery
Olympus: captures blurr images without flash
canon: produces images nearest to real image, not user friendly

diff brand caters to diff pple, you'll need to see what u go for. Price? Types of lens? Resolution? big LCD? running on lithium batt or alkaline batt? etc.. zoom into what you.. wide angle? a camera with many times optical zooming? compact size? blah blah... def you wanna make your money worthwhile but you cant have a perfect camera. settle for something you'r comfortable with..hope tt helps.

nvr really tried b4... using a samsung hp thou. taking pics with it too.. not too bad.. usable.. haha

but samsung cameras are priced reasonably.. if u dun go for brands shudn;t be a problem. mustafa do sell cameras too.. prices are slightly lower than retail. can check out at MUSTAFA
