Default DBS I-Banking Update!
woah today i receive some kind of gadget on my mail..
i thought it's mp3 or what..
but it's a device given from dbs..
it's like some sort of keygen..
i have to login with my user and pass like normal..
only now i have another step..
press the device..then it will generate a random number..
then i have to type in then can log in!
so troublesome..but secure

hmm, i have gotten it for two months already, it's the second factor authentication (2FA), all banks that offer online banking services are required to comply with this requirement

there is a timeframe of a few months for all the banks to roll out this service.
I guess DBS is just sending out the token by phases, hence you get it later than others
i don't know how it works, but it will not die...

yeah they send by snail mail..
eh you guys so bad eh..
where i got slow..
i heard they are goin to imply this new method a few months back..
but only yesterday then i receive ley..
i thought inside bomb or what..

*faint* i have been using it for about 2 mths liaoz wor.. i tink u receive late due to the DBS large IB customer base.. they should have a hard time doing the distribution..

knox, u dun have to worry abt the battery cos the token have a llong lifespan up to 5 years.. but there will be a replacement charge for lost of the token and u have to pay $20 for it..

I got mine in early jan... But it was spoilt... kept giving me the same number over and over again... Then brought it back to the bank for a replacement... Then they wan me to pay 20 bucks for it... Obviously treating it like I lost the IB Token... But I kpkb, wanna see manager... No way I'm gonna have to pay for their fault...

End up they guai guai change one for me... Say it's "goodwill replacement"... Damn dulan...

o.o OCBC best...request for the handphone authentication..they send sms to your phone...then ocbc recently implemented a java program for end users like me to access/check balance/perform funds transfers on the go =p

using sony ericsson Z610i works fine...and its secure(they claim one la...yes or not i not sure)...
