Studio Wu is very reputable but their hip hop classes focuses more on very black-american style of hard krumping. However, they have a girls' hiphop course. You can train to be performers in their 3G girls' course. But Studio Wu is rather expensive. I think it might be better for you (if you are still in school) to join your school's cca. In there you will have competititions and foster belonging to a club identity. Also, do give the more neglected genres like modern, contemporary and jazz a glance. They are after all, the ancestors of current genres. That requires a lot of technicality though, so do join a dance school or like I say, a CCA, especially if you are still young!
