Use a clean cloth to clean the wound then, try not to use tissue as it will stick onto the wound. after that use the cloth pess onto the wound to stop the bleeding.

Cutepetz, no need to fret k. It's very common for me to see such kind of wounds. Follow the steps below, but 1st get a 1st aid kit:

What u need:
Water or irrigation solution (also known as washing solution, salt solution or sodium chloride solution)
Pieces of Gauze or cloth (clean 1s)
Roller bandage

1. Use a clean piece of cloth or gauze, wet it with water or salt solution, and gently clean off the blood stains.

2. Use a clean piece of cloth or gauze to press on the wound for about 5-10 minutes. This is to staunch/stop the bleed for the moment.

3. Change the gauze or cloth to a clean 1. Keep it pressed on the wound and cover it. Get another person to help you bandage your wound using a roller bandage, preferably an elastic 1. The bandage must be slightly tightened to apply pressure on the wound to help stop the bleeding.

*If you don't have a roller bandage, use any strip of cloth and tie it on top of the wound slightly tightly to apply pressure.

Note:
1. If it still bleeds after 30 minutes, go see a doctor (GP) to see if stitches or more management of wound is required.

2. Keep your wound dry and clean to prevent infection.

So Others May Live
