What is cosplay?!
On the surface, Cosplay=costume play. People who cosplay are called Cosplayers. From current terms, the basic expectations are the use of costumes, accessories, props, and makeup to dress up as an ACG(anime, comic, game) character, or a Visual Kei band from Japan.
Not from my source is from the nickname coperita =)

Cosfest is what cosplayers say for the Mid year cosplay event
For the end of year one many of us call it EOY or end of year.
