Total SGC$: 1,291.38 | Contact Lens Issues My contact lens tore in my eyes again. It is the upteenth time it happened. Either because of mishandling or the lenses are not durable enough. And boy, was it painful.
It is only one side and so I have to either replace just one of it or get a new pair. It is supposed to be within the warranty period but they do not cover for tears.
It is permanent lenses and so replacing even one side of it costs about 100.
My eyes do not really suit disposable lens due to the curvature.
Am wondering if any of you has any recommendations for contact lens that are more affordable and has good oxygen flow? Or any optician that charges them at a much cheaper price than the current one I go to or any promotions going on? (mine is really overpriced)
Would appreciate all comments. =) |

Actually if your astig isn't high, you don't really need to wear lenses with astig. I have them too, but I can do without them.
So right now your biomedics is toric? I heard they were good too, but I am thinking more of permanent. Less hygenic and more risky but it feels more comfortable since it is custom-made. |

I do not like restrictions in front of me too. Feels a little heady when I put them on. But true enough, specs is the healthiest.
Alright the best is definitely perfect eyesight. Alas, mine isn't. Sigh. |

But I am using solocare, that is the same ciba vision one I suppose?
I used to use baush and lomb and complete, but they got banned one after another so now I'm stuck with solocare.
Right now the crux is to get cheap replacement for my lenses. Sigh, contact lens are an expensive appendage, but nonetheless necessary for me.
I made this pair last year September, and to think I have to replace them less than a year later. |

And i will never ask you;
I just kept it to myself.

LOL.
sometimes my eyes will turn red and puffy if i didn't clean my lenses well. but if its the eyelids that hurt i guess u are really sensitive to expired contact lenses.
anyway im now wearing daily disposable, though pocket one big hole but really much more hygenic. |
