Community Service

Hi anyone interested in doing community for Sree Narayana Mission Home for the Aged Sick ?

The service commence on every SAT from 1430 hrs - 1730 Hrs.

The programe goes like this 1st we have interaction n games session with them. After which we having singing therapy (This's the time to show yr vocal talent. We'll sing Both eng n chi for them. Lastly to end the day, its the feeding time. This is where we'll feed some of those elderly who have difficulties having their meal.

Before dismissal there will be a End of day debrief, (feedback and suggestion). Den u are free do go.

yup cause its a weekly event the programme its the same for every week just that some time they had special event la.
Actually in sg its nt very far cause their a few who live very far too like jurong west n pasir ris. If u all interested u all can go to the website n c.
Actually mayb u all 1 2 noe more can contact ben the rto or myself cause i doing it for SN also. They really in need of long term volunteers, but its ok if u cannot every week cause they noe everyone of us has our own commitment but its the willingness to give that push me to join. Btw some of the senior are spreding the SN spirit to other hme too. If u 1 2 noe more as in which other places need volunteer do let me noe i find out for u. Hope u call can pass this info around to all yr friends. Thks

hahas my cca do a lot of community service too! but our community service a bit diff coz we do things like held drama workshops, we host overseas grps who come into singapore.. this august got uk band coming then we're hosting them luh.. yishun a bit far for me so cannot. sorry!

lol pasir ris gt direct bus think only takes 45 mins.
BTW Wintermaul also staying pasir ris.
Hopefully u enjoy yr other way of community service espically coming AUG.

joey_hanamichi - Oic. Ben its the RTO there. He's been busy lately due to his company problem but still back on & off.

ohsobaka - Hi. Its always on as everyweek we'll b doing community service there. Ic as in recuitment or ??? Sry wat signature u need? its a volunteer thing.
Volunteers like me just go there at the given time (always the same timing) and do wat we need to do like. Things like Birthday celebrate ( 1st sat of the month), Festive celebration, outing to places, movie screening, playing games with the elderly, chatting with the elders, singing session, feeding. If u have any question u can call, sms or pm me. Thks

This sat most of us are nt serving the hme in the afternoon as duman high sch its bring the elderly to thir sch for some event. weill b resuming normal service on the next sat.
