COE prices for vehicles mixed in December bidding | Quote: | | | | | SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices for cars in the A and B categories have fallen for the month of December.
COEs for cars less than 1600 cc (Category A) dropped by S$489 to S$12,200, while those for cars that are more than 1600 cc (Category B) now cost S$14,389, down by S$120.
The biggest fall in the latest open bidding exercise was in Category C for goods vehicles and buses.
The price has been nearly halved to S$509, down by S$494.
COEs for the other two categories went up.
Those in the Open Category now cost S$14,669, up slightly by S$168.
Motorcycle COEs went up by S$549 to S$1,251.
President of the Automobile Association of Singapore, Bernard Tay, says the motor industry market is relatively quiet during the holiday period.
