CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School holds record-setting fund-raiser

SINGAPORE: More than 1,800 people ran round the clock over the weekend to raise funds for CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School.

This fund-raiser, which was organised to help rebuild and renovate the school, has also set a new record.

In celebration of the school's 75th birthday, students and alumni forked out S$50 per person in a run to raise cash for new school facilities.

Their effort also surpassed a previous world record set in the UK in 2005 where 801 people ran a relay of 4x100 metres in 24 hours.

The school has made it into the Singapore Book of Records.

st nics jus seem rich as a sch cos of SOME of the rich fam who haf all their daughters dere so dey alws donate :/ but as a sch....not tt rich ya hahahs.
