Cat Meow-ing Loudly

Caught this downstair of my house. It was around 12+am. This 2 cats were meow-ing so loudly that gave me creeps.. Any idea why is this so ?

ya.. iN malay, when the cats meowing it meant = mau. Mau means, needed sex..then the opposite sex might say = tak mau. Meaning dunwan. And the same cat will meow out loud saying = MAU and the other wan will meow back saying = TAK MAU . . and even louder...
